IPTVoop Privacy Policy

Android, Android TV and iOS ยท Last updated: October 8, 2026

This policy explains how Appozitive SpA ("we", "us" or "our") handles information in IPTVoop on Android mobile devices, Android TV, iPhone, and iPad, where available. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS versions are covered by our TV privacy policy.

Your saved app data stays on your device. The current app does not upload your saved provider credentials, viewing history, Favorites, My List or downloads to us. It connects directly to your selected providers and the playlist, video and artwork servers needed to display and play your content. It contains no advertising, analytics or automatic crash-reporting SDK.

1. Information used and stored by the app

IPTVoop stores information locally to connect to your provider, display its catalog, and restore your playback and preferences. This can include:

  • Provider information: connection names, server addresses, usernames, passwords and playlist links. Links may include access tokens or other credentials.
  • Catalog and account details supplied by your provider: titles, artwork, descriptions, categories, episode information and, when supplied, account status, expiration dates and connection limits.
  • Your activity and preferences: Favorites, My List, viewing history, watched status, resume positions, saved ordering, appearance and playback settings, and local profile identifiers or choices where available.
  • Offline downloads where supported: video files or media segments, artwork, content metadata, source links, and download status and progress.
  • Device information used locally: available storage, network connectivity and whether Wi-Fi is available, to show storage usage and manage downloads.

This information provides the features you request. Local profiles are not online accounts with us. The current app does not synchronize saved information between devices or require registration with us.

2. Connections to providers and other servers

When you connect, browse, stream or download, your device sends requests directly to your chosen provider, playlist host, streaming servers and artwork hosts. Xtream login sends your entered username and password to your provider. Playlist and media URLs may transmit credentials or tokens included in those links. Redirects and links supplied by your provider may lead to other servers.

Those services receive the network information needed to respond, including your public IP address, requested URLs, request timing and relevant request headers. Requests can reveal the content you access. Artwork may be hosted by third parties, including TMDB image servers when their URLs are supplied with the content. Providers may keep their own access logs and account records.

We do not operate your selected providers or control their privacy practices. Their processing is governed by their own policies and terms. IPTVoop is a player and does not supply a streaming subscription or content catalog. Only connect to providers you trust and content you are authorized to access.

3. Advertising, tracking and sharing

The current app contains no AdMob or other advertising SDK, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or other automatic analytics or crash-reporting service. It does not send your viewing history to us, sell your personal information, or share it with advertising partners.

If you use the Share button, the app passes the displayed content information to the sharing destination you select through the system share sheet. The selected app or service handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Google, Apple and your device manufacturer may independently process store, installation, operating-system and diagnostic information according to their services, policies and your device settings. These platform services are separate from our in-app data handling.

4. Permissions and background features

The app uses internet access for provider connections, streaming and downloads, and network-state information to manage connectivity and the Wi-Fi-only download preference. On supported devices, background download services continue transfers and display download notifications. Notification permission, where requested, lets the app show progress, completion or failure messages; you can manage it in your device settings.

Picture-in-picture can keep a playing video visible when you leave the app, using the operating system's playback features. Downloaded content is stored in app-managed storage. The current app does not request access to your contacts, precise location, microphone, camera or general photo library for these features.

5. Security and retention

On Android, saved provider and preference state is encrypted using a key held in Android Keystore, and app backup is disabled. On iOS, this saved state uses the device Keychain with a device-only accessibility setting. Download files, cached artwork and other local metadata are kept separately in app-managed storage; not all of these files are encrypted by the app. Device protection and access controls also depend on your operating system and settings.

Use HTTPS provider and playlist addresses when available. HTTP connections do not encrypt credentials or other information in transit. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Saved data is retained until you delete it, clear applicable app data, or the operating system removes it. Cached artwork may be removed or replaced automatically. Uninstalling usually removes app files, but iOS Keychain entries can remain after uninstalling, and platform backup or retention behavior can vary. Delete saved providers in the app before uninstalling when you want to remove their credentials.

6. Your choices and deletion

  • Providers: open Settings โ†’ Providers, select a provider and use Delete to remove its saved connection. Disconnect stops using a provider but keeps its saved connection for later. Deleting a connection does not close or delete your account with the provider, and does not automatically delete all associated history or downloads.
  • Favorites and My List: remove entries using the corresponding app controls.
  • Downloads: delete an individual download or use Settings โ†’ Downloads โ†’ Delete all downloads. Removing offline files does not delete provider records or necessarily remove viewing history.
  • All local Android data: use the operating system's app-storage controls to clear IPTVoop's storage. This removes saved app data and downloads on that device.
  • Other devices: use the available in-app deletion controls. Contact us for guidance if you need help removing remaining local information.

We cannot retrieve or remotely delete local app data that has not been sent to us. Contact your provider directly to request deletion of its account or server records.

7. Children

The app has no online registration or tracking service that asks children to submit personal information to us. Parents or guardians should supervise access to providers and age-appropriate content. The content available through a provider is outside our control. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Changes to this policy

We will revise this policy and its date when our data handling changes. Features such as advertising, analytics or cloud synchronization, if introduced, will be accompanied by updated disclosures and any notices or consent required for those features.
