IPTVoop Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy applies to the IPTVoop IPTV player provided by Appozitive SpA ("we", "us" or "our") on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS TVs. The same policy covers both TV versions. It does not describe our other apps or future IPTVoop mobile versions.

Your TV data stays on your TV. We do not receive your saved provider credentials, profiles, viewing history, Favorites or My List through the TV app. IPTVoop connects directly to the providers and playlist or artwork servers you choose or whose addresses appear in your playlist.

1. What IPTVoop stores on your TV

To provide playback and personalization, the app stores information in its local application storage. This can include:

  • Saved connection names, provider server addresses, usernames, passwords and M3U playlist links. Playlist links may contain credentials or access tokens.
  • Profile names, locally generated profile identifiers, avatar choices and colors.
  • Viewing history, watched episodes, resume positions, Favorites and My List.
  • Your selected provider and playback or caption preferences.

This information is used to reconnect to your provider and restore your choices. Profiles are local to this TV; they are not online accounts with us. The current TV app does not synchronize this information to our servers or between devices.

2. Information we do not collect through the TV app

The current TV app has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting service. It does not send your viewing activity or saved local data to us, sell it, or share it with advertising partners. It does not request access to the TV camera, microphone, contacts or location.

3. Direct connections to your provider and content servers

When you connect or play content, your TV contacts your chosen provider, playlist host and streaming servers directly. Xtream-compatible login sends the credentials you enter to that provider. A playlist or streaming link may also send credentials or tokens contained in its URL.

These servers receive the network information needed to respond, including your public IP address and request details. Provider-supplied artwork can load from other image servers, which also receive network requests. Those services may record activity under their own privacy policies. We do not operate or control the providers you choose.

IPTVoop provides a player, not a streaming subscription or content catalog. Use providers you trust and review their privacy policies. Without the required server address, playlist link or credentials, the app cannot access that provider's content.

4. Storage, security and retention

Local information is retained until you remove it in the app or clear its application data using the TV's available controls. Some TV platforms may retain or restore application data after an update or reinstall, so uninstalling alone should not be relied on to remove everything.

Saved credentials use local application storage; this is not a guarantee of encryption. Use HTTPS provider and playlist addresses when available. HTTP connections do not encrypt the information transmitted. No device storage or network connection can be guaranteed completely secure.

5. Your choices and deletion

  • Manage saved connections in Settings → Your providers. Removing a provider removes its saved login, but keeps profiles and viewing history. An already active connection may remain open until you sign out.
  • Use Clear viewing history in Settings to remove history and resume progress for the current profile and provider.
  • Remove Favorites and My List entries using their corresponding controls.
  • Use Edit profiles to change a profile or delete it. Deleting a profile removes its history, Favorites and My List for all providers. The app requires at least one profile to remain.
  • For complete removal, clear the app's local data where supported by your TV, or contact us for guidance specific to your model.

We cannot retrieve, export or remotely delete TV data that has not been sent to us. Requests relating to your provider account or the provider's records should be addressed to that provider.

6. Samsung and LG platform services

Both TV versions follow the local-storage and direct-provider approach described here. Samsung and LG may independently process information about the app store, downloads, TV operation and platform diagnostics under their own privacy policies and your TV settings. Those platform services are separate from our app data handling.

7. Support and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that information to answer your request and keep correspondence as needed for support, follow-up and applicable legal obligations. Where applicable, the basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing support or compliance with a legal obligation. Do not send provider passwords, access tokens or full playlist links containing credentials.

This privacy-policy page and our other pages are hosted using Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Visiting them creates ordinary hosting requests, including IP addresses, request URLs and browser information. This is separate from local TV app data. This policy page adds no analytics or advertising scripts. See Google's privacy policy for information about its services.

8. Children and changes to this policy

The app does not collect children's personal information through a tracking or online registration service. Profiles do not require a real name. Parents or guardians should supervise provider access and content suitable for children. Provider content is not controlled by us.

We will update this page if the app's data handling changes and revise the date above. New features such as cloud synchronization, analytics or advertising would require updated disclosures before they are introduced.
